How to Play Hangman
A hidden word is displayed as blank dashes. Click a letter on the keyboard (or type it) to make a guess. If the letter is in the word, it fills in all matching positions. If it's not in the word, a body part is added to the hangman figure. You have 6 wrong guesses before the game is over. Guess the complete word to win!
Hangman Tips & Tricks
Start with the most common letters in English: E, T, A, O, I, N, S, R. Look at the word length and pattern to narrow down possibilities. Common word endings include -ING, -TION, -ED, -LY. If you've identified some letters, think about what words they could form. Avoid guessing uncommon letters like X, Z, Q early on.
